Antonia Antonia AntoniaCOLUMBIA, S.C. The officers of the Columbia Police Department were searching actively for Sims who went missing on the night of Christmas Eve. They took into custody Taylor Wardlaw to investigate his murder. According to police, Eddie Brown (aged 30) is suspected as a contributing factor to the death of Sims. Sims was a 26-year-old male last seen at a home located on Ervin Street in Columbia Dec. 20. Police say that Sims' girlfriend Wardlaw had reported him missing on December. 22. The body was discovered near a creek off Monticello Road Wednesday, and the Richland County Coroner Naida Rutherford confirmed the body was that of Sims. Columbia Police Chief Skip Holbrook says Wardlaw is being charged with murder as well as possession of guns during a violent criminal act. According to the police, Sims was killed multiple times.
