Jessica resigned from the television series 7th Heaven in season six. The film Ulee's Gold and her outstanding performance as a teenager in Casey Jackson brought instant fame to her. Actually, the film won her Best Supporting New Actress. Summer Catch is a great demonstration of her ability. In spite of her stellar performance in the Rules of Attraction her film was not a huge success. The performance she gave of The Texas Chainshaw Massacre, an horror film attracted the attention of the world. Additionally, she's worked on thrillers and suspense movies.
